D. Delay not - accept him today.

Why wait?

God has made salvation available to you through Jesus Christ. You do not need to wait until you become a better person. You do not need to wait until you have everything figured out.

If you understand your need for a Savior and are ready to put your faith in Jesus Christ, you can call upon Him today.

Romans 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Notice the word "whosoever." God's offer of salvation is not limited to a certain kind of person. Whoever comes to Christ in faith can be saved.

You may be thinking, "I will do it someday."

But when is the right time?

Today.

2 Corinthians 6:2

"For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

The Bible does not tell us that tomorrow is guaranteed. We do not know what tomorrow will bring. We do not know how long we will live, what circumstances may come, or whether we will have another opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

That is why you should not put off the most important decision of your life.

Do not say, "I will accept Christ when I am older."

Do not say, "I will do it when my life is better."

Do not assume, "I can do it tomorrow."

Tomorrow is not promised. But today is here.

If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, do not delay. Turn to Him today. Believe on Him. Call upon His name and trust Him for your salvation.

Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation.

You have heard the Gospel. You have seen your need for salvation. You have learned that Jesus Christ is the only One who can save you.

Will you trust Him today?

If you are ready to put your faith in Jesus Christ, the following prayer can help you express your faith to God.
